ANTONIO DI STEFANO

Antonio Di Stefano is full professor in pharmaceutical technology, socioeconomics and legislation at the Department of Pharmacy of the Chieti-Pescara University-Italy. He was supervisor of the analytical laboratories of a food Company and worked as C.N.R. (Research National Council-Rome, Italy) project researcher. The scientific interest is mainly centered on antiparkinson and antialzheimer prodrugs, new antibacterial agents and nano-carrier formulations of NMEs. He was appointed as Scientific Expert to the “European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)” of Bruxelles (Reg. CE n.1223/2009) and is Director of two Masters (II Level) on "Pharmaceutical Technology Transfer" and “Pharmacy Management”. The research activity is well documented in more than 140 papers published in peer-reviewed International Journals, Book Chapters and Patents.

LISA MARINELLI

Lisa Marinelli graduated in Pharmacy with honour at the “G. d’Annunzio” University of Chieti. At the same University, in April 2015, she obtained a Ph.D. in Drug Sciences with the supplementary title of Doctor Europaeus. Since 2015 she started her postdoctoral training. She is currently Researcher at the Department of Pharmacy, “G. d'Annunzio” University of Chieti-Pescara. The research interest of Lisa Marinelli is focused on the Pharmaceutical Technology including design, synthesis, and drug delivery of novel drugs conceived for the treatment of neurodegenerative and microbial diseases. Her research activity is well documented in many papers published in peer-reviewed international scientific journals.

IVANA CACCIATORE

Prof. Ivana Cacciatore received her Master degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology with honour in 1999 and she earned her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Science in 2002 (University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti-Pescara, Italy). Associate Professor of Medicinal Chemistry, member of the Department of Pharmacy of the University “G. d’Annunzio“ since 2016, has always been involved from discovery to the development of drug delivery systems of novel drugs for the treatment of neurodegenerative and infectious diseases. Her research activity is well documented by more than 85 papers published in peer-reviewed international scientific journals, awards, and collaborations with foreign public and private partners. She is co-author of the European patent EP 3 495 372 A1 "Boronated derivatives for the treatment of diseases and conditions associated to oxidative stress” (2019).
